affiliated
with Sugar Land Girls Softball
Association in Sugar Land, TX. We are sponsored by Louisville
Slugger.
Our
teammates come from all over Greater Houston and surrounding areas.
The 2008-2009

the Texas Aces 11th year as a

Katie!
 Katie Moulder,
a junior at Clear Creek High School in League City, has committed to
play softball for the Nicholls
State University in Tibodaux, LA. Katie has been with
the
Texas Aces Gold since the fall of 2007, and played with Texas Impulse
prior to that. Katie is a pitcher for the Texas Aces Gold and the
Clear Creek Lady Wildcats, where she was an All-District selection in
2008. Katie will join
Coach Jenny Parsons and the Lady Colonels in the fall of 2010.

Caitlin commits to Mary Hardin Baylor!
Congratulations Caitlin!
 Caitlin Bollier,
a senior at Kerrville Tivy High School, has committed to play softball for
the Unversity of
Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX. Caitlin joined the
Texas Aces Gold in the fall of 2008, and previously played for the
Texas Hawks. Caitlin was a 2008 TGCA 4A All-State selection at
3rd base, as well as All-Area and All-District. Caitlin will join
Coach Kasey Blomquist and the 2008 American Southwest Conference West
Division Champion UMHB Lady Crusaders in the fall of 2009.

Crystal Alaniz is first Texas Aces 2010 to Commit!

Alaniz,
a junior at Texas City High School, verbally committed to play softball for
Texas State University.
Crystal joined the Texas Aces Gold in the fall of 2008, and made her
commitment soon after. Crystal previously played for Texas Impact
Gold and Texas Rage. Crystal pitches
for her high school team, and was first team All-District the
past two seasons. Crystal will join Coach Ricci Woodard and the Texas
State Bobcats in the Southland Conference in the fall of 2010.

Brittany Taylor commits to University of North Texas!

 Brittany Taylor,
a senior at Cypress Falls High School, signed a Nationl Letter of
Intent to play softball for
the University
of North Texas.
Brittany joined the Texas Aces Gold the fall of 2007. Brittany
plays 1st and 3rd for the Texas Aces Gold, and pitches
for her high school team. She was All-District as a pitcher the
past two seasons, and also team MVP. Brittany will join coach
T.J. Hubbard and the UNT Mean Green of the Sun Belt Conference in the
fall of 2009. Go Green!!

Holly Anderson heads to University of Houston.
Congratulations Holly!
 Holly Anderson, a senior at Dickinson
High School, signed to play softball for the University of Houston.
Holly has played for the Texas Aces Gold since the fall of 2006.
Holly plays shortstop and center field for the Texas Aces, and pitches
for her high school team. She is a true utility player, and was
named the All-District Utility Player of the Year the past two
seasons! Holly was also the setter for the varsity volleyball
team. Holly will join coach Kyla Holas and the University of
Houston Cougars of Conference USA in the fall of 2009. Go Coogs!!

 Ashleigh Jones,
a senior at Klein Oak High School, joined the Texas Aces Gold in the
fall of 2008. Ashleigh had already committed to play softball for
the University of Houston
and has now signed her NLI.
Ashleigh previously played for the Texas Eclipse Gold, and plays
outfield for the Klein Oak Panthers and was a 1st team All-District
selection in 2008. Ashleigh will join coach
Kyla Holas and the University of Houston Cougars of Conference USA in
the fall of 2009. Go Coogs!!

a senior at Livingston High School, joined the Texas Aces Gold in the
fall of 2008, after playing with the Texas Eclipse Gold in the
summer.
Brooke had already committed to play softball for the University of Houston and

Brooke is a shortstop for the Livingston Lions softball team, and is
also a Nationally ranked pole vaulter. Brooke will join coach

 Sandi Moynihan, a senior at St. Agnes
Academy, joined the Texas Aces in the fall of 2008. Sandi had
already committed to play softball for George
Washington University, which is located four blocks from the
White House in Washington, DC.
Sandi previously played for Texas Magic Gold. Sandi is a catcher
for
the St. Agnes Tigers and the Texas Aces Gold. She will be joining
coach Kim Staehle and the GW Colonials of the Atlantic 10 conference in
the fall of 2009. Congrats!!

a senior at Smithson Valley High School, joined the Texas Aces in the
fall of 2008. Bailey had already committed to play softball for
the University of Houston.
Bailey previsouly played for Impact Gold. Bailey is an
All-District
and All-State pitcher for the Smithson Valley Rangers, and was also a
member of the 2006 West Columbia 3A State Championship softball
team.

 Sydney Shannon recently
graduated from Marlow High School in Oklahoma, joined the Texas Aces
for the summer of 2009. Sydney was named an all-state catcher in
Oklahoma after her senior season, which was played in the fall.
Sydney has played with the OK Jitterbugs, OK Babes, and Impact Gold.
Sydney signed with Texas A&M University last fall. She will
be joining Coach Jo Evans and the fightin' Texas Aggies in the Big XII
