High School Sports Friendswood looks fancy with Hall's footwork
A look at top recent performances in the Houston area:
Girls athlete of the weekName: Annalisa Hall, junior, Friendswood
*
Unfortunately, this isn't quite accurate! Mallori did hit a
double in the game, and she is a sophomore, but she attends
Brazoswood! Mallori hit a lead-off double in the top of the 7th inning to put the pressure on Pearland, but was left stranded as Pearland won the game 1-0. Mallori also had a great defensive game, and of course she was hit by a pitch in one at bat!Notable: The junior had three goals and one assist in the Mustangs' 7-0 win over Whitehouse in their regional soccer final. She also had a goal in Friendswood's 3-0 win over Lindale in the semifinals as the Mustangs advanced to the 4A state tournament. Quotable: "Annalisa has been a big part of our offense all season." —Laura Peter, Friendswood girls soccer coach
