 Molly Fichtner,
a rising senior at Clear Brook High School in Friendswood, has
committed to
play softball for UT-San Antonio. Molly joined
the
Texas Aces Gold in the fall of 2007. She is primarily a catcher
and also plays 3rd base. Molly was chosen as co-MVP of
district 24-5A in 2009 along with Aces teammate Katie Moulder.
The two will meet up again in the Southland Conference, as Molly will
join Coach Lori Cook and the UTSA Roadrunners in the fall of

Moulder,
a rising senior at Clear Creek High School in League City, has

play softball for the Nicholls
State University
in Tibodaux, LA. Katie has been with the
Texas Aces Gold since the fall of 2007, and played with Texas Impulse
prior to that. Katie is a pitcher for the Texas Aces Gold and the
Clear Creek Lady Wildcats, where she was an All-District selection in
2008. Katie will join
Coach Jenny Parsons and the Lady Colonels in the fall of 2010.

 Crystal Alaniz,
a rising senior at Texas City High School, verbally committed to play
softball for Texas State
University.
Crystal joined the Texas Aces Gold in the fall of 2008, and made her
commitment soon after. Crystal previously played for Texas Impact

for her high school team, and was first team All-District the
past two seasons. Crystal will join Coach Ricci Woodard and the Texas

 Alyssa Rodriguez,
a recent graduate of Needville High School, has committed to play softball for
Angelina College
in Lufkin, TX. Alyssa joined the
Texas Aces Gold in the fall of 2008, and previously played for the
Sugar Land Heat and Third Coast Thunder. Angelina College formed
a new
softball program for the 2008-2009 season. Alyssa will join
Coach Chrystal Vega and the Lady Roadrunners in the fall of 2009 for
their 2nd season.

 Caitlin
Bollier,
a recent graduate of Kerrville Tivy High School, has committed to play
softball for the University
of
Mary Hardin-Baylor
in Belton, TX. Caitlin joined the Texas Aces Gold in the fall of
2008,
and previously played for the Texas Hawks. Caitlin was a 2008
TGCA 4A
All-State selection at 3rd base, as well as All-Area and
All-District.
Caitlin will join Coach Kasey Blomquist and the 2008 American Southwest
Conference West Division Champions UMHB Lady Crusaders in the fall of
2009.

 Brittany Taylor,
a recent graduate of Cypress Falls High School, signed a National
Letter of
Intent to play softball for
the University
of North Texas.
Brittany joined the Texas Aces Gold in the fall of 2007. Brittany
played 1st and 3rd for the Texas Aces Gold, and pitched
for her high school team. She was All-District as a pitcher the
past two seasons, and also team MVP. Brittany will join coach
T.J. Hubbard and the UNT Mean Green of the Sun Belt Conference in the

 Holly Anderson,
a recent graduate of Dickinson High School, signed to play softball for
the University of Houston.
Holly has played for the Texas Aces Gold since the fall of 2006.
Holly
played shortstop, third base, and center field for the Texas Aces, and
pitched for
her high school team. She is a true utility player, and was named
the
All-District Utility Player of the Year the past two seasons!
Holly was
also the setter for the varsity volleyball team. Holly will join

 Sandi Moynihan, who recently graduated
from St. Agnes
Academy, joined the Texas Aces in the fall of 2008. Sandi had
already committed to play softball for George
Washington University, which is located four blocks from the
White House in Washington, DC. Sandi previously
played for Texas Magic Gold. Sandi was a catcher for the St.
Agnes
Tigers and the Texas Aces Gold. She will be joining coach Kim
Staehle and the GW Colonials of the Atlantic 10 conference in the fall

baseman for her high school varsity team her freshman and sophomore
years, but was behind the plate her junior season, catching her

Beth Evans, a
2008 graduate from Clear Lake High School, signed a National Letter of
Intent to play softball at Houston Baptist
University as they return to NCAA Division I.
Beth pitched for 3 years with the Texas Aces Gold. Along with
pitching, she played 2nd base and outfield for her Clear Lake High
School varsity team where she is a 4 year letter winner. In 2007,
she was in the top 5 in K's and Top 10 in ERA for 5A schools in the
Houston Area and a SPARQ top 50 athlete (nationwide). Beth joined
Coach Mary Ellen Hall and the HBU Huskies in the fall of

Appeared in 20 games in the circle for the Huskies, with 18
starts. Finished with a 6-11 record, and a 2.82 ERA, and 108
strikeouts in 114.1 innings pitched. Also had 10 starts in 12
games in the outfield. Hit home run in first collegiate at
bat. In limited opportunities at the plate, had 0.261 batting
average with 1 double, 1 HR, and 5 RBI. Named Great West Pitcher
of the Week in March for picking up a save and two victories over
Northwood and Houston-Victoria. Against Texas Southern, gave up
just one hit in three innings of work. For the week, gave up 11
hits and one earned run for an ERA of 0.41. She also struck out
15 and didn't walk a batter, extending her streak of consecutive
innings without giving up a walk to 26. |
 Baylea Wagener, a 2008 graduate of Angleton High
School, signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at the University of Central Arkansas.
Baylea is a two-time All-District Pitcher of the Year in 4A High School
softball. Baylea joined the Texas Aces in the fall of 2007 after
playing for the Houston Mystixx the previous year. Baylea joined
Coach Natalie Shock and the UCA Sugar Bears in the Southland
Conference

were the 2007 NJCAA XIV East Zone Conference and Region XIV Champions,

Posted a 12-4 record in 16 starts in the circle. Finished with a
1.40 ERA and struck out 99 batters in 110.1 innings of work.
Recorded 6 shutouts in 15 complete games. Pitched a no-hitter
against Texas State. Also played 1st base, playing in 53 of
the Aggies 67 games. Finished the season with 0.279 batting average in
104 at bats, including 5 doubles and 4 homeruns, and 16 RBI. Hit
a 2-run HR against Texas for the game winning RBI in the Big 12
Tournament. Also hit a lead-off HR against Stanford in the first
game of the NCAA College Station Super Regional, and another HR against

Jessica played outfield for the Texas Aces Gold after her senior
year, along with her twin sister Stephanie. Jess played outfield

and later played for the Texas Cobras.

Jamie Haas (2009 Deer Park High
School) plans to play volleyball at Sam
Houston State University. Jamie started playing
softball for the Texas Aces Gold in the fall of 2006. Jamie
played with the Aces for two years before deciding to pursue volleyball
instead of softball in college. We all wish Jamie well in her
volleyball career, and congratulate her on her commitment to Sam
Houston State. Go Bearkats!

in San Antonio. Lana
Jo played for the Texas Aces for two years in 14U, and also traveled to
Gold Nationals with the Texas Aces in 2007. Lana Jo played for

Texas Magic Gold before committing to college.

2009 St. Edwards: Played
in 61 of the Hilltoppers 62 games, starting all but one. Played
first
base or was designated hitter when not pitching. Compiled a 0.247
batting average in 174 at bats, with 8 doubles and two home runs.
Finished the season with a 7-6 record in the circle, with 60 strike
outs in 78 innings pitched, and a 3.95 ERA.

School, LA)
plays softball at Centenary College
in Shreveport, Louisiana. Kalyn played for Coach Kelly & Dan on the
Sugar Land Shock, then played for the Texas Aces Gold for a year and a
half. Kalyn attended ULL for one semester before transferring to

first base or designated hitter. Compiled 19 hits in 102 at bats,

of Texas at San Antonio. Morgan
played for Texas Storm - Dixon one year after playing two years for the
Texas Aces Gold, then moved to the Texas Express Gold. Morgan
also played for the Texas Aces 10U for a short
time in in the spring of 2000. Morgan is also a long-time
pitching student of former Texas Aces coach Harry Havard.

fielding percentage with 3 put outs and 13 assists. Had one hit
in 20 at bats.

(2007 Lamar Consolidated High School) plays softball for Centenary College in
Shreveport, Louisiana. Bonnie was an outfielder for the

Heat for several years, and later played for Magic Gold. Bonnie

2008 Centenary:
Was a 'major spark plug' for the Centenary Ladies offense.
Started in 57 of 60 games on the season, and saw action in the other
three. Hit 0.262 with a team high 44 runs scored, third most ever
in a Centenary single season. Tied for team lead with 7 homeruns,
and led team with perfect 15 of 15 stolen bases. Named Summit
League player of the week once. Had only one error all season.
2009 Centenary:
Started 52 games while playing in 54 of the Ladies 55 games on the
season. Batted 0.248 with 34 hits, including 5 doubles, 2
triples, and one homerun. Drove in 12 runs, while scoring
20. Was 11 for 14 in stolen bases. Named to the Summit
League All-Tournament team.

Tiffany Stritz
(2007 Pearland High School) accepted a scholarship to play softball at Baker
University in
Baldwin City, Kansas, but later changed her mind and went on to play at
Texarkana College.
Tiffany played with
the Texas Aces in 10U in
2000 and last played for the Texas Cobras. Tiffany also played
high school ball at Pearland with several other Texas Aces players.

season,
Tiffany pitched 9 innings with no decisions. She played in 31
games in the field, and compiled a 0.229 batting average in 70 at bats,
with 16 hits and 6 RBI. She also scored 10 runs.
2009 Texarkana
College: Her sophomore
season, Tiffany pitched 205.1 innings and finished with a 2.83
ERA. She had an 18-13 record in the circle. At the plate,
she finished with a 0.274 batting average, with 26 hits in 95 at bats
and 9 RBI.
2010: Tiffany has signed a letter-of-intent to
continue her softball career at Our Lady of the Lake University in San
Antonio, a first-year NAIA program.

Tech
University, after playing two years at Copiah-Lincoln
Community College
in Wesson, Mississippi. In her final year at Co-Lin, Emily led
the team to a third place finish in the NJCAA National Tournament in
Normal, Illinois. Emily led the nation in NCJAA Division II with
a
0.466 ERA, and was named 1st Team All American. Emily played for
Havard's Texas Aces team for several years, and later played for the
Texas Peppers. She took pitching lessons from
