Pixie
Tune-Up Tournament
The Texas Aces teams hosted a Pixie Tune-Up Tournament
at the PGSA Complex on March 13th and 14th, 1999. The tournament
consisted of one pool game for each team followed by a double elimination
bracket. Friday night rain postponed the start of the tournament
from Saturday morning to Saturday afternoon. Despite the cold &
windy weather, ten 8 & Under teams participated in the event.
The tournament ended up with the Texas City Dirty Dozen going undefeated
to take first place, with the League City Fireballs taking second.
The Fireballs only other loss was to the Dirty Dozen, who put them in the
losers bracket.
