Bracket Game 4. Texas Aces (visitors) vs. Ballistic (home). Won 1-0. Pitchers Rhiannon/Morgan.
The Texas Aces managed to come up with a win over the Deer Park Ballistic in a very tight game that eliminated the Ballistic and advanced the Texas Aces to the final round.  Both teams had excellent pitching and strong defense that kept the game scoreless through 6 innings.  Rae, pitching for the Ballistic, allowed only 5 hits with 1 walk and 2 strikeouts in 7 full innings pitched.  For the Texas Aces, Rhiannon pitched 5 innings and allowed only 3 hits with 1 walk and 2 strikeouts, and Morgan pitched 2 innings with no hits, 1 walk and 1 strikeout.

The seventh inning was played by compressed International tiebreaker rules.  The last two batters were awarded 2nd and 3rd base, and each batter started with a 1-1 count.  In the top of the 7th, after one batter struck out, Rhiannon laid down a bunt and was allowed to take first base while the defense held the runner at 3rd.  Brytish then hit a pop-up to 3rd, which looked like would result in a double play, since Amy at 3rd didn't tag up.  However, in her haste to make the play, the 3rd baseman dropped the ball, which allowed Amy to score.  The Ballistic did recover and get the force out at 3rd.  The Ballistic got the third out with a fly ball to shortstop.

In the bottom of the 7th, Morgan walked the first batter to load the bases.  The next batter hit to first base for a fielder's choice that got the first out at home.  The second batter hit to third base for a fielder's choice that got the second out at home.  Morgan struck out the last batter, which resulted in a win for the Texas Aces!
