Texas Aces Finish 2nd in West Columbia
The Texas Aces played some very good games in West Columbia March 24 & 25 to take home the 2nd place trophy. It was a great weekend of softball. They won pool games against the Lake Jackson Wipeout (8-5) and the Purple Reign (6-0). After losing the first bracket game to the Texas Fever (8-7), the Texas Aces sent home the Pasadena Purple Reign (7-0), the Alvin Ultimates (14-6), and the Lake Jackson Wipeout (5-3). They then beat the Texas Fever in the next bracket game (9-4), but lost after leading 5-1 in the if-game when the Texas Fever started hitting the ball hard! We all said hi! to Caitlin of the Texas Fever, who played on the 12U Texas Aces with Coach Havard last year. We hope to see the Texas Fever again for some more exciting games! Thanks goes out to Casey, Jessie, Bonnie, and Lindsey for playing with us for the weekend.
