Bracket 1 - vs Angleton Texas Freedom - Aces won 8-0.
The first bracket game on Friday night had no one scoring in the first three innings.  The Aces were visitors and batted first, with three quick outs in the first inning.  With Rhainnon pitching for the Aces, the Freedom lead-off batter started out with a single up the middle, but was left stranded on 2nd.  In the 2nd, Kayla and Kendall had consecutive singles, but both were left stranded. Kelsea led off with a single in the 3rd, and Lindsey walked, but both were left stranded.  Kayla led off with another single in the 4th, and scored on a double by KendallRhiannon brought home Kendall on a groundout, to put 2 runs on the board for the Aces.  In the 5th, Amber reached on error, and scored on a single by Lindsey.  The Freedom had one baserunner on a walk that was quickly caught stealing by Megan and Lindsey. Kendall led off the 6th with a single, and advanced on two quick groundouts back to the pitcher.  On a 2-out rally, Kelsea brought home Kendall with a single.  Amy hit into a fielder's choice, but the ball was dropped at 2nd.  Amber followed with a single to load the bases.  Lindsey cleared the bases with a 3-run double, and scored on a passed ball, to put up five more runs for the Aces.  Freedom had one runner reach on an error, and the top of the line-up followed with a single for only the 2nd hit of the game.  The runner on first tried to go to 3rd, but was tagged out on a throw from Amy in center to Lindsey, and a tag out on a grounder to Kendall at 2nd completed the shutout. 

Bracket 2 - vs Lake Jackson Wipeout - Aces won 5-2.
In the second bracket game, the Aces were once again visitors.  This time the bats started out hot, as Amy led off with a triple. Amber brought home Amy with a slap towards 3rd.  After one out, Kendall reached on error.  Kayla bunted safely to score Amber, and Kesha followed with a single to score KendallKayla struck out the first batter, and the 2nd batter reached on a throwing error, and quickly stole 2nd and 3rd.  However, Kayla struck out the next two batters, leaving the runner stranded on 3rd.  Rhiannon led off the 2nd with a single, and scored on a single by AmyAmber followed with a single, but two were left stranded.   In the bottom of the 2nd, the first batter was hit by a pitch, and scored on a triple.  A single brought home another run for the Wipeout, but a fly-out and two groundouts left the runner stranded, bringing the score to 4-2 after 2.  In the 3rd, Megan hit a single on two outs, but was left stranded.  In the bottom of the 3rd, the Wipeout led off with a single, and another batter walked, but a strikeout and two groundouts left both runners stranded.  On another 2-out rally, Amber hit a single, and Lindsey reached on an error.  Kendall followed with a single to bring home Amber.  A flyout left two stranded.  In the bottom of the inning, after a strikeout and a groundout, the Aces changed pitchers to kill some time.  After the Wipeout failed to get the 3rd out called, time expired and a groundout ended the game.

Bracket 3 - vs Sweeny Playaz - Aces won 21-1.
The Aces again batted first, and scored 11 runs in the 1st inning.  After a flyout to center field, Amber reached on error and Lindsey walked.  Kayla followed with a single to bring home the first run, followed by RBI doubles by Megan, Kendall, and Kesha, and a 2-RBI double by RhiannonKelsea walked, but was caught stealing. Amy hit a single, and Amber reached on an error to load the bases.  Lindsey reached on an error as Rhiannon scored, and Amy scored on a wild pitch. Kayla reached on error as Amber scored, and Megan reached on error as Lindsey scored.  Kayla scored on a wild pitch, before a groundout ended the inning.  Rhiannon pitched for the Aces.  The first batter led off with a hit, but was quickly caught stealing.  After a groundout, another batter hit a safe bunt, and another reached on error, but both were left stranded on a strikeout.  In the 2nd, Kesha led off with a single, and came home on a double by RhiannonKelsea reached on error as Rhiannon scored, and Amber brought home Kelsea on a groundout.  In the bottom of the 2nd, after two groundouts, the Playaz got a single, but a strikeout left the runner stranded.  Kayla was hit by a pitch in the 3rd, and Megan walked as Kayla scored on a wild pitch.  Megan advanced on a groundout, and scored on a groundout by Kesha.   In the bottom of the 3rd, on one out, one runner reached on error.  A fielder's choice missed the runner at the plate to end the shutout, but a flyout to Amber in right got the double play when the runner didn't tag up on 1st. Kelsea walked in the 4th, and Amber singled.  Lindsey hit a safe bunt for an RBI, and Kayla brought home another with a single up the middle. Megan brought home two more with a single up the 3rd base line, and scored on a wild pitch, bringing the run total up to 21.

Bracket 4 - vs Danbury Panthers - Aces won 10-0.
In the last game on Saturday, the Aces were home team.  Kayla struck out the first batter, followed by two groundouts.  On one out, Amber hit a single, and advanced on a wild pitch and a groundout. Kayla brought home Amber with a single.  Megan reached on error as Kayla scored, and Kendall walked, but two were left stranded.  Rhiannon snagged the first two balls covering first, and a groundout to Amber at 2nd ended the top of the inning.  Rhiannon led off the bottom of the 2nd with a single.  Kelsea followed with a single, and Amy walked to load the bases.  Two fielder's choices got the outs at the plate. Amy scored on a wild pitch, and Kayla hit a double to bring home two runs.  Kendall led off the 3rd with a single, and scored on a double by RhiannonKelsea walked, and Amy was hit by a pitch to load the bases.  Amber walked for an RBI, and Lindsey grounded out for another RBI.  Kayla followed with a single for another RBI.  The Panthers led off the 4th with a single, and another reached when hit by a pitch, but both were left stranded.  In the bottom of the 4th, Kendall walked, and Kesha followed with a single, when time expired.

The Panthers defeated the Wipeout in a game that went back and forth.  In a scoreless game, the Panthers managed to get one run in on an error just before time expired.  The Wipeout got the last out to start a new inning.  The Wipeout scored several runs when the Panthers started making errors, but the Panthers came back and fought till the end.  The Wipeout pitcher fell ill in the tense game, and they had to finish with 8.  The Panthers ended up winning the close but exciting game.

Bracket 5 - vs Danbury Panthers - Aces won 9-1.
The Aces were once again home team, and Rhiannon pitched.  The first batter reached when hit by a pitch, but was left stranded. Amy reached for the Aces when she was hit by a pitch, and advanced on a wild pitch and a sac bunt by Amber, and scored on another wild pitch.  Lindsey followed with a single, but was left stranded. Amber was busy in right field, as the first batter hit a fly ball for an out, and the next one lined out to Amber in right. Kendall walked in the 2nd, but was forced out at 2nd on a dropped fly ball in left, as Kesha reached on error.  Kelsea hit a single, and amy was hit by a pitch.  Kesha scored on a wild pitch.  The Panthers had one hit in the 3rd, which was quickly caught stealing by Megan and LindseyLindsey walked in the 3rd, and later scored on a wild pitch.  Kayla walked, Megan was hit bay a pitch, and Kendall walked to load the bases.  Kesha got a single to bring home Kayla. Rhiannon hit a sacrifice fly to right to score Megan, and Kendall scored on a wild pitch.  Kelsea walked while Kesha scored on another wild pitch.  Amy advanced Kelsea on a sac bunt, and Amber walked, but Kelsea was caught stealing.  The Panthers led off with two consecutive singles in the 4th, but Kendall caught a line drive to 2nd and made a double play with Lindsey when the lead runner on 2nd didn't tag up.  However, a triple brought home one run, ending the shutout, but that runner was left stranded. Lindsey led off the 4th with a single, and Kayla reached on an error.  Megan reached on an error to load the bases.  Two flyouts held the runners, but a single by Rhiannon brought home one, and Kelsea walked for another RBI.  A fielder's choice took the out at home, leaving three stranded.  Kayla came in to pitch in the 5th, and walked the first batter.  However, they were quickly caught stealing.  Kayla walked another batter, but found her stride as she stuck out the next, and a line drive to Kelsea at 3rd ended the game on the run rule.
