Texas Aces 'co-op' games
The District 27 Division A teams are required to play a co-op league with other Division A teams. The Pearland 14U Division A teams will each be playing 8 games against other Pearland 14U Division A teams (Texas Aces, Texas Ice, TCB Blue, TCB Orange (if they make)).

The Texas Aces played their first two games during opening day March 1, 2003, against the Texas Ice.

Game 1 - 3/1/03 - vs Texas Ice. Aces won 4-1.
Rhiannon started pitching for the Aces, and struck out the first batter on a called strike. The next batter ground out to 2nd, and a fly out to shallow right ended the inning. Lindsey hit a single on one out, and Lana Jo walked after a groundout, but both were left stranded on a line drive to short. Rhiannon struck out the side in the 2nd. The Aces got two quick outs in the bottom of the 2nd with a line drive out to right field, followed by another line drive out to 2nd. On two outs, Kesha walked, and stole 2nd, then scored on a single by Kendall. Kendall was left stranded. Siera came in to pitch for the Aces. After one out, one batter walked and advanced on a sac bunt. Another batter walked, and the lead runner scored on an Aces defensive error that missed the runner at 1st. A strikeout left two stranded. Kelsea led off the bottom of the 3rd with a single, but was forced out at 2nd on a fielder's choice by Amber. Amber stole 2nd, advanced to 3rd on a wild pitch, and scored on a passed ball as Lindsey walked. Lindsey advanced on a ground out, and scored on a single by Lana Jo. Siera followed with a double to bring home Lana Jo. Siera was left stranded on a line drive to right, but the Aces put three on the board that final inning.

Game 2 - 3/1/03 - vs Texas Ice. Aces won 7-1.
The Aces were visitors for the 2nd game. Emily led off with a walk, and advanced on a single by Kesha. Kendall bunted and beat the throw to first, but Emily was tagged out at the plate trying to score. Stephanie hit a single to load the bases. Kelsea hit a line drive to right, and Stephanie was caught off first for a double play against the Aces. Siera walked the first batter in the bottom of the inning, and the runner advanced on a sac bunt. After a strikeout, the next batter hit a line drive to short leaving one stranded. The Aces started out with a line drive out to short. (There were a lot of line drive outs in these two games by both teams!) Lindsey followed with a single down the 3rd base line, and stole 2nd and advanced to 3rd on a wild pitch. Megan brought home Lindsey with a single up the middle. Lana Jo reached 1st on an Ice error on a dropped pop up, but Megan was thrown out at 2nd on the force. Siera reached on an error on a missed fly ball to center, as Lana Jo advanced to 3rd. Rhiannon also reached on a missed fly ball to center, and a couple runs scored. Emily hit an RBI single to bring home Rhiannon. Kesha followed with a single, and Kendall cleared the bases with a single for two more RBI's. In the bottom of the 2nd, Lottie reached on an error, and stole 2nd and 3rd. Siera struck out the next two batters, but walked the next one as Lottie scored on a passed ball. A ground out left one stranded. In the 3rd, Amber hit a double on one out, and scored on a two out double by Megan. Megan was called out at 2nd on a bad call to end the inning. Rhiannon came in to pitch in the bottom of the 3rd, and was throwing smoke as she struck out the first batter. Then the game was called due to time.
