Aces Miss Championship Game for First Time This Season
The Texas Aces lost their first bracket game against a tough B/CS Classics 16U team.  After getting an early 1-0 lead, the Aces couldn't hold on in the final inning and allowed two runs on three well placed hits by the Classics.  This set the Aces up for a long day on Sunday in the loser's bracket.  With a very early start on Sunday, the Aces breezed through their first three opponents without allowing a run to score.  In their fourth game of the day, the Aces had one bad inning and allowed the 14U Bizerk to score 3 runs which the Aces couldn't overcome.  The Bizerk was awarded 1st place by default because the Classics headed home after beating the Bizerk 13-0 in the winners bracket.  We'll get 'em next time, ladies!
