HIT  Fall Festival College Exposure
Friday night rain in Sugar Land rained out the Imperial Park fields, so one pool game was dropped for each team, games were shortened to 1 hour, and all teams moved to Missouri City to play.  The Aces got off to a slow start on Saturday, and the games seemed to be over before they could get anything going.  On Sunday, the regular schedule resumed, although they started out slow, the Aces got the bats going and won their final two games.

Pool Game 3 - vs High Voltage Gold.
Game canceled due to rain out in Sugar Land.

Pool Game 4 - vs Gulf Coast Xplosion.  Aces tied 0-0.
Morgan pitched this game, and allowed only two hits with 8 strike outs and one walk.  The walk came in the first inning, but the runner was left stranded.  The leadoff batter got a single in the 5th, but was caught in a double play on a line drive to Ashley in center field.  The next batter hit a bunt single, but was left stranded.  The Aces had four hits in the game.  Megan singled in the 2nd, but was caught stealing.  Rhiannon reached on an error in the 3rd, and Kesha singled, but both were left stranded.  Morgan and Kelsea hit back-to-back singles in the 4th.  Kendall walked to load the bases.  Morgan was tagged out trying to score on a passed ball.  Amber reached on a dropped 3rd strike in the 5th, but was left stranded to leave the game scoreless.

Pool Game 5 - vs Humble Cobras.  Aces won 6-0.
Rhiannon pitched the game against the Cobras, and had six strike outs with two walks, and allowed only two hits (one to each of the twins -- former Aces players from Havard's team!)  Kesha led off for the Aces with a slap single, and advanced on two ground outs.  Kelsea singled to bring home the first Aces run.  Megan followed with a double to left center that scored Kelsea from first.  Megan scored on a wild pitch.  Ashley led off with a bunt single in the 3rd.  Kesha followed with another single, and Lindsey drove home a run with a single up the middle.  Morgan singled in another run, and Kelsea followed with another.  Two runners were left stranded.

Pool Game 6 - vs San Antonio HITT.  Aces won 2-0.
Morgan pitched the first three innings, and allowed only one hit, with one walk, and one strike out.  Rhiannon pitched the final three innings, and after walking the first batter, allowed no other base runners.  Rhiannon had 5 strike outs, including striking out the side in the 6th.  Lindsey reached on an error in the 1st, and Kendall in the 3rd.  Morgan reached on a dropped 3rd strike in the 4th.  Megan had the Aces first hit of the game in the bottom of the 5th when she led off with a single.  Rhiannon walked, but a fielder's choice got the lead runner and a ground out left two stranded.  When time expired in the bottom of the 6th,  it looked like it might be another 0-0 tie.  Then Kesha reached on an error with two outs.  Lindsey rallied with a single, and Morgan came through with another single that scored two runs.  (Yes, I know the game was officially over at 1-0 when the first run crossed the plate, but both would have scored!)
