2005 High School Season Summary
Congratulations girls on your High School seasons.  Several of our girls' high school teams qualified for the playoffs:  22-5A Baytown Sterling (Amber), 24-5A Alvin (Megan) and Pearland (Rhiannon, Kelsea, Lindsey, Kesha, & Brytish).  Sterling made it to the Regional Quarterfinals, and Alvin advanced to the Regional Semi-Finals!  Great season, girls!

At the end of season Awards Banquets, several Texas Aces players received school awards:

             PHS Rookie of the Year -- Kelsea Orsak, 1B, Freshman
             PHS Most Improved -- Lindsey Langner, 2B, Sophomore
             PHS Offensive Player of the Year -- Rhiannon Kliesing, P, Sophomore
             PHS Most Valuable Player -- Rhiannon Kliesing, P, Sophomore
             AHS Most Hustle Award -- Megan Powell, 3B, Sophomore

Several Aces players received post season awards:

22-5A:  Amber Russell, Freshman, Baytown Sterling -- Honorable Mention, DH/OF
23-5A:  Kendall Glasgow, Sophomore, Pasadena Memorial -- Honorable Mention, 1B
24-5A:  Rhiannon Kliesing, Sophomore, Pearland -- 1st Team All District, P
             Kesha Hagerman, Sophomore, Pearland -- 2nd Team All District, UT
             Lindsey Langner, Sophomore, Pearland -- Honorable Mention, 2B
             Megan Powell, Sophomore, Alvin -- Honorable Mention, 3B
County: Rhiannon Kliesing, 1st Team All-Brazoria County Offensive Player of the Year
             Kesha Hagerman, 2nd Team All-Brazoria County
             Lindsey Langner, All-Brazoria County Honorable Mention

Rhiannon Kliesing was also named to the All Greater Houston 2nd Team as a pitcher, and was named to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA 1st Team South Central Region.
