The Aces went undefeated again for the weekend, winning 5 games and tying one. The Aces shut out their opponents in the first two games, beating the Texas Select 11-0 and the Texas Smack 16U 5-0. In the extra game added on Saturday, the Aces defeated the Texas Elite White (DFW area) 7-2. The Aces finished the day beating the Hawks 16U 3-2. Sunday started early as the Aces beat the Round Rock Crush 5-1. In the final game of the weekend, the Aces were one out away from beating the Cobras, but a timely hit by the Cobras tied the game before the final batter was retired. All in all, a good weekend of ball playing in the extreme heat!
