With the Rising Star Showcase washed out due to Hurricane Wilma, the Texas Aces decided to play in a local AFA Qualifier with the hopes of qualifying for next summer's AFA 18U Nationals. Although the Aces dropped one game during the tournament, the girls came back strong and accomplished their goal of qualifying. We would like to have played out the tournament, but the other team took their berth and went home...
