Due to all the rain in the area, the three day round robin was cut down to just one day, and we were able to get in some games on Sunday.

Game 1: Texas Aces Gold 3 - MC Elite Gold 0.  Beth pitched for the Aces, allowing 3 hits with 6K and no walks over 5 innings.  The Aces put up their first run in the 2nd after Rhiannon led off with a single, and Kelsea ran for her and stole 2nd and 3rd, and managed to win a hot box situation when the catcher tried to tag her without the ball in the glove.  The Aces scored again when Katie led off the 3rd with a single, and runner Miller moved to 2nd on a sac bunt by Beth, and scored on a single by Kesha.  The Aces added another run in the 5th after Holly led off with a "power" bunt single, and advanced to 2nd on a wild pitch.  Holly scored on a double by Jenna.

Game 2: Texas Aces Gold 3 - Round Rock Blaze Gold 1.  Rhiannon pitched for the Aces, and allowed 3 hits with 4K, 1 walk, and 1 earned run.  The Blaze led off the 2nd with a double, and the runner advanced on a ground out and scored on a wild pitch.  Rhiannon walked to lead off the bottom of the inning, and Megan came in to run. Megan advanced on a wild pitch and a sac bunt by Holly.  With Jenna up to bat, she attempted a suicide bunt towards 1st base, but the ball was in the air.  The first baseman made an attempt to catch the ball, which hit the ground and spun foul.  Megan ran across the plate, and Jenna headed to 1st.  However, after the ball went foul, Jenna returned to the batters box, and Megan went back to 3rd.  The umpire then indicated that the ball was fair (guess he thought someone touched it, but no one did).
Everyone but him knew the ball was foul -- players and fans on both sides.  So Megan's run counted, and Jenna was thrown out at first, or called out, or something.  It was definitely a bad call by the umpire, and he ended up throwing out the Blaze coach and tried to call the game.  Kesha reached on an error in the 4th, and Kelsea reached on a bunt single.  Preston advanced the runners with a sac bunt.  After a 2nd out, Holly hit a pop up just over shortstop, and a miscommunication between 3rd, short, and left turned into a 2-run error.  The Aces had 5 hits, with singles by Kesha, Kelsea, Jenna, Katie, and Miller.

Game 3: Texas Aces Gold 3 - Hawaii RBI 0. Beth pitched the first 3 innings, and didn't allow any hits, with 4K and 1 walk.  Rhiannon pitched the final inning and struck out 2.  The Hawaii team had one other baserunner on an error in the 3rd inning, that reached 3rd base with a stolen base and a sac bunt, but Beth struck out the final batter to end the threat.  The Aces scored in the first after Megan singled with one out and stole 2nd and 3rd base.  Beth singled to right for the RBI.  The Aces scored two more in the 2nd after Kelsea reached on an error and advanced to 2nd on another error.  Preston singled and moved Kelsea to 3rd.  Rhiannon executed a perfect suicide bunt for an RBI, and Holly was safe on a fielder's choice that held the runner at 3rd.  Jenna hit a sacrifice fly to left to score another run.  The Aces ended up with 5 hits:  Kesha had a double, and Preston, Rhiannon, Megan, and Beth had singles.
