Texas Aces Tournament Results

The Aces played well on Friday with two wins. The highlight of the first game was a 3-run homerun by Kalyn in the 2nd inning, after Holly singled and Jenna walked in front of her. Miller, Kelsea, and Beth also had hits in the game. The next game, the Aces held the Sundancers hitless, but made a few errors. Kelsea hit a double in the first, Holly singled and Kalyn doubled in the 2nd, and Kesha, Preston, and Miller also had hits.

The girls didn't play so great on Saturday, with two losses coming after being ahead in both games. The Aces scored in the 1st inning against the Storm after Kesha reached on an error and Rhi singled her in. Lindsey led off the 2nd with a single, and Jenna also singled. After advancing on a sac, Lindsey scored on a fielder's choice that failed to get her at the plate. Kesha and Kelsea also singled in the inning. The Storm came back and scored in the 3rd with three hits and an Aces error. Kalyn singled in the 3rd, and Holly doubled in the 5th, but both were left stranded. In the second game, the Aces took a 1-0 lead in the 2nd after Preston walked and Miller drove her in with a single. Glory scored two runs on 4 singles in the 3rd. Holly, Kalyn, and Kelsea also had hits in the game.

Sunday, the first game was underway, but not even through the first inning when the rains came and washed out the fields.
