The Aces got off to a rough start, missing  most of their committed players and  basically fielding a totally new team for their first outing of the season.   After the first game, the bats started coming around, and things started coming together.  The new players all had great opportunities to show their stuff, and the returning players did great as well:   Jamie did an awesome job playing shortstop and was 3-5 at bat; Beth pitched 11 innings and struck out 7;  Kalyn batted .500 with a 3-run homerun in the 2nd game and a triple in the last game; Miller had three hits including one double; Kesha had 4 hits and scored 3 times; Kelsea was 4-4 in stolen bases; Lindsey had two hits and scored in each of the 3 games she played; Jenna played solid at 3rd from the minute she stepped on the field; Megan made a great play at 2nd base on a bases loaded force at the plate; Katie hit a triple and did a great job behind the plate; Rhiannon struck out 13 in 5 innings and hit a triple; Jojo pitched 7 innings and struck out 11.
