Crystal Alaniz, Texas City• Class: Freshman• Position: Pitcher • Notable: Alaniz helped carry the Stings to the regional finals against Brenham in her freshman campaign. She finished with a 13-6 record and an 0.51 ERA with 217 strikeouts.
Amber Anderson, Alvin• Class: Junior• Position: Pitcher • Notable: The UTSA signee was a leader in the circle and at the plate. She had three home runs and a .349 batting average.
Rhiannon Kliesing, Pearland• Class: Senior• Position: Pitcher • Notable: The Texas A&M signee went 24-4 overall with a 0.54 ERA, allowing only 14 earned runs in 182.33 innings. She struck out 318 batters and had 14 shutouts and two no-hitters.
Keely Shuler, Foster• Class: Sophomore
Shannon Smith, Cinco Ranch• Class: Senior• Position: Pitcher • Notable: Smith came back from shoulder surgery to carry the Cougars to the Region III finals. She was 20-4 with 319 strikeouts, an 0.85 ERA and 17 shutouts. Smith has signed to play for South Alabama.
Meghan Brown, Cinco Ranch• Class: Junior• Position: Catcher • Notable: In the Region III finals against Katy, Brown had three home runs in a row to push the series to three games. She batted .347 this season and led the team with 26 RBIs.
Chastity Skipper, Texas City• Class: Sophomore• Position: Catcher • Notable: Skipper was on base 96 times and hit .347 this year. She had nine doubles, four triples and four home runs.
Lexy Bennett, Second Baptist• Class: Junior• Position: IF • Notable: The Texas signee had another phenomenal season, batting .671 to lead all private schools in the area. She had 25 extra-base hits (15 doubles, four triples and six home runs.)
Matte Haack, Katy• Class: Sophomore• Position: IF • Notable: The Katy shortstop made several big defensive plays this season. She also helped make Katy famous for its infield trickery. She helped lead the Tigers to their first state tournament with a .494 batting average.
Kristin Kappler, Brazoswood• Class: Senior• Position: IF • Notable: Kappler led the Buccaneers in RBIs for the third straight year with 35 this season. She had a .395 batting average, a .500 on-base percentage and a .596 slugging percentage to help lead the Bucs to the regional semifinals.
Sadie PItzenberger, Tomball• Class: Senior• Position: IF • Notable: The Notre Dame signee was a dynamic defensive player for the Cougars, but she also got it done offensively. In 140 at-bats, she had 61 hits (.455), with four doubles and four triples.
Nicole Zolondek, Clements• Class: Senior• Position: IF • Notable:The UT-Tyler signee was a huge defensive threat in District 23-5A, and she also hit .396and led the district with 48 RBIs this year.
Blair Gerkin, Foster• Class: Senior• Position: OF • Notable: Gerkin helped lead the Falcons to the regional quarterfinals twith her .904 fielding percentage. She also led the team with a .432 batting average and had 27 RBIs and 14 stolen bases this season.
Kasey Henderson, Katy• Class: Senior
Leslie LeJune, Memorial• Class: Junior• Position: OF • Notable: Hailed as the best outfielder in Houston by several area coaches, LeJune had a .980 fielding percentage and was known for her ability to accurately throw out runners at home from center field. She also led the team with a .453 batting average and 29 RBIs.
Hollie Pinchback, Cinco Ranch• Class: Senior• Position: OF • Notable:The Illinois signee had a .354 batting average and led the regional semifinalist team in home runs with four.
Katie Brokmeyer, Katy• Class: Senior• Position: Utility • Notable: Brokmeyer has been a big part of Katy's success for four seasons. Her biggest hit of the year came in the regional finals when she homered with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie Game 3 with Cinco Ranch, setting up Katy for an extra-inning victory. 1st Team
