2010 HS Graduates

Katie Moulder, a junior at Clear Creek High School in League City, has committed to play softball for the Nicholls State University in Tibodaux, LA. Katie has been with the Texas Aces Gold since the fall of 2007, and played with Texas Impulse prior to that. Katie is a pitcher for the Texas Aces Gold and the Clear Creek Lady Wildcats, where she was an All-District selection in 2008. Crystal Alaniz, a junior at Texas City High School, verbally committed to play softball for Texas State University. Crystal joined the Texas Aces Gold in the fall of 2008, and made her commitment soon after. Crystal previously played for Texas Impact Gold and Texas Rage. Crystal pitches for her high school team, and was first team All-District the past two seasons. 2009 HS Graduates

Alyssa Rodriguez, a senior at Needville High School, has committed to play softball for Angelina College in Lufkin, TX. Alyssa joined the Texas Aces Gold in the fall of 2008, and previously played for the Sugar Land Heat and Third Coast Thunder. Angelina College formed a new softball program for the 2008-2009 season. Alyssa will join Coach Chrystal Vega and the Lady Roadrunners in the fall of 2009 for their 2nd season. Congratulations Alyssa. Go Lady 'Runners!! Committed January 2009

Caitlin Bollier, a senior at Kerrville Tivy High School, has committed to play softball for the Unversity of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX. Caitlin joined the Texas Aces Gold in the fall of 2008, and previously played for the Texas Hawks. Caitlin was a 2008 TGCA 4A All-State selection at 3rd base, as well as All-Area and All-District. Caitlin will join Coach Kasey Blomquist and the 2008 American Southwest Conference West Division Champions UMHB Lady Crusaders in the fall of 2009. Congratulations Caitlin. Go Cru!! Brittany Taylor, a senior at Cypress Falls High School, signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball for the University of North Texas. Brittay joined the Texas Aces Gold in the fall of 2007. Brittany plays 1st and 3rd for the Texas Aces Gold, and pitches for her high school team. She was All-District as a pitcher the past two seasons, and also team MVP. Brittany will join coach T.J. Hubbard and the UNT Mean Green of the Sun Belt Conference in the fall of 2009. Go Green!!

Holly Anderson, a senior at Dickinson High School, signed to play softball for the University of Houston. Holly has played for the Texas Aces Gold since the fall of 2006. Holly plays shortstop and center field for the Texas Aces, and pitches for her high school team. She is a true utility player, and was named the All-District Utility Player of the Year the past two seasons! Holly is also the setter for the varsity volleyball team. Holly will join coach Kyla Holas and the University of Houston Cougars of Conference USA in the fall of 2009. Go Coogs!!

Ashleigh Jones, a senior at Klein Oak High School, joined the Texas Aces Gold in the fall of 2008. Ashleigh had already committed to play softball for the University of Houston and has now signed her NLI. Ashleigh previously played for the Texas Eclipse Gold, and plays outfield for the Klein Oak Panthers and was a 1st team All-District selection in 2008. Brooke Lathan, a senior at Livingston High School, joined the Texas Aces Gold in the fall of 2008, after playing with the Texas Eclipse Gold in the summer. Brooke had already committed to play softball for the University of Houston and has signed her Letter of Intent. Brooke is a shortstop for the Livingston Lions softball team, and is also a Nationally ranked pole vaulter. Sandi Moynihan, a senior at St. Agnes Academy, joined the Texas Aces in the fall of 2008. Sandi had already committed to play softball for George Washington University, which is located four blocks from the White House in Washington, DC. Sandi previously played for Texas Magic Gold. Sandi is a catcher for the St. Agnes Tigers and the Texas Aces Gold. She will be joining coach Kim Staehle and the GW Colonials of the Atlantic 10 conference in the fall of 2009. Congrats!!

Bailey Watts, a senior at Smithson Valley High School, joined the Texas Aces in the fall of 2008. Bailey had already committed to play softball for the University of Houston. Bailey previsouly played for Impact Gold. Bailey is an All-District and All-State pitcher for the Smithson Valley Rangers, and was also a member of the 2006 West Columbia 3A State Championship softball team. Jessica Savage, a senior at Alvin High School, joined the Texas Aces Gold for the summer 2008 season. Jessica had already made a verbal commitment to play softball at Texas State University. Jessica previously played with the Texas Eclipse Gold and Alvin No Fear. Jessica plays second base for the Alvin Yellowjackets and also plays outfield and third base. Kelsea Orsak, who graduated in 2008 from Pearland High School, committed to Texas A&M University before the start of her junior year. Kelsea is one of the original players that started with this Aces team, coached by her mom, in fall of 1998. Kelsea is a catcher and plays 1st and 3rd base for the Texas Aces Gold. Kelsea was the starting 1st baseman for her high school varsity team her freshman and sophomore years, but was behind the plate her junior season, catching her Aces teammate and future Aggie teammate, Rhiannon Kliesing. Beth Evans, a 2008 graduate from Clear Lake High School, signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at Houston Baptist University as they return to NCAA Division I. Beth has pitched for 3 years with the Texas Aces Gold. Along with pitching, she plays 2nd base and outfield for her Clear Lake High School varsity team where she is a 4 year letter winner. In 2007, she was in the top 5 in K's and Top 10 in ERA for 5A schools in the Houston Area and a SPARQ top 50 athlete (nationwide). Baylea Wagener, a 2008 graduate of Angleton High School, signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at the University of Central Arkansas. Baylea is a two-time All-District Pitcher of the Year in 4A High School softball. Baylea joined the Texas Aces in the fall of 2007 after playing for the Houston Mystixx the previous year. Megan Yanda, who graduated in 2008 from Clear Brook High School, signed to play softball at Texarkana College. Megan has played outfield for the Texas Aces since the fall of 2006. Megan also plays second base for her high school team, and is a speedy slapper that bats at the top of the line-up. The Texarkana College Bulldogs were the 2007 NJCAA XIV East Zone Conference and Region XIV Champions, and made an appearance at the 2007 NJCAA National Tournament. Meagan Potts, a 2008 graduate of Alvin High School, signed to play softball at Western Texas College, located in the west Texas town of Snyder (between Lubbock and Abilene). Meagan joined the Texas Aces in the fall of 2007 and plays outfield. Meagan also plays outfield for the Alvin Lady 'Jackets. Western Texas is an NJCAA Division 1 softball program that participates in Region 5. Meagan will join Coach Rome McNary and the Lady Westerner softball team in the fall of 2008. Go Westerners!! Rhiannon Kliesing, a 2007 graduate of Pearland High School, signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at Texas A&M University. Rhiannon is one of the original Aces players that started with this team in the fall of 1998. Rhiannon pitched and played 1st base for the Texas Aces Gold, and was the starting pitcher for her high school varsity team for 3 years. Rhiannon was selected as District MVP her junior and senior years, and Houston Chronicle Player of the Year as a junior and Pitcher of the Year as a senior. She was also named an All-American two years in a row by both NFCA and EA Sports. Rhiannon joined Coach Jo Evans and the Texas Aggies of the Big 12 Conference in the fall of 2007. Kesha Hagerman, a 2007 gradutate of Pearland High School, signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at Prairie View A&M University. Kesha is one of the original Aces that started with this team in fall of 1998. Kesha played left field for the Texas Aces Gold and for the Pearland Lady Oilers high school varsity team. Kesha was selected as an All-State and All-American outfielder as a junior. Lindsey Langner, a 2007 graduate of Pearland High School, signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Lindsey was with the Texas Aces for six years. Lindsey played 2nd base for the Texas Aces Gold, and was also the starting 2nd baseman for the Pearland Lady Oilers. Jenna Emery, a 2007 graduate of Fort Bent Austin High School, signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at Texas State University. Jenna played with this Aces team in 2000 & 2001 in 10U & 12U, then returned in 2006 at the Gold level. Jenna played 3rd and 1st base for the Texas Aces Gold, and was also a starting infielder for the Austin Bulldogs with Aces teammate Lauren Preston. Lauren Preston, a 2007 graduate of Fort Bend Austin High School, signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at Texas Tech University. Lauren was with the Texas Aces for two years. Previously she played for Magic Gold. Lauren played 3rd base, shortstop, and outfield for the Texas Aces Gold, and was a starting infielder for her high school varsity team. Lauren Miller signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at Division II St. Mary's University in San Antonio, TX. Lauren was a home educated 2007 graduate that also took dual credit classes at Lee College in Baytown. Lauren played outfield for the Texas Aces Gold for two years. Lauren played with the La Porte Naturals in 10U & 12U before taking a few years off from softball to play club soccer. Katie Brokmeyer, a 2007 graduate of Katy High School, signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at Division I Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. Katie was with the Texas Aces for one year, after playing for Houston Power Gold the previous year. Katie was a catcher and also played outfield and shortstop for the Texas Aces Gold, and was a starting outfielder and backup catcher for her high school varsity team. Tiffany Shaw, a 2007 graduate of Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, LA, signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Tiffany joined the Texas Aces Gold as an outfielder for fall 2006 after playing with the LA Pride the previous year, but lated moved on to the Gold Coast Hurricanes to play with a fellow LSU signee. 2006 HS Graduates

Ashley Nelson, a 2006 graduate from Clements High School, accepted a scholarship offer to play softball at Sam Houston State University! Ashley was a catcher and also played 1st base for the Texas Aces Gold, and was the starting catcher for her high school varsity team. Prior to playing for the Aces, Ashley played for Dan & Kelly on the Sugar Land Shock and also played for the Missouri City Magic. Chelsey Chapman, who graduated in 2006 from Clear Lake High School, spent the summer of 2006 playing ball with the Texas Aces Gold, after playing for the Texas Challengers in previous years. Chelsey played outfield for the Clear Lake Falcons and the Texas Aces Gold. Chelsey made the softball team at UTSA as a walk-on at open tryouts! Chelsey planned to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio all along, and planned to try out for the softball team when she got there. Congratulations Chelsey! Jessica Cotton, who graduated in 2005 from Pearland High School, was an outfielder for the Texas Aces Gold the summer after her senior year. Jessica played softball at Pearland High School as a freshman & sophomore, but finished her high school years playing varsity soccer. Jessica accepted a scholarship to play soccer at Stephen F. Jessica played outfield for the Texas Aces Gold after her senior year, along with her twin sister Stephanie. Jess played outfield for the Clear Creek Wildcats varsity softball team. Jess also played with the original Texas Aces team coached by Harry Havard, and later played for the Texas Cobras.

Stephanie Runge, who graduated in 2005 from Clear Creek High School, went on to play softball at San Jacinto College. Stephanie played outfield for the Texas Aces Gold after her senior year, along with her twin sister Jessica. Stephanie played 2nd base for the Clear Creek Wildcats varsity softball team. Steph also played with the original Texas Aces team coached by Harry Havard, and later played for the Texas Cobras.

Morgan Luksa (2008 Clear Creek High School) plays softball at University of Texas at San Antonio. Morgan played for Texas Storm - Dixon one year after playing two years for the Texas Aces Gold. Morgan played for the Texas Aces 10U for a short time in in the spring of 2000. Morgan is also a long-time pitching student of Texas Aces coach Harry Havard. Congratulations Morgan!

Megan Powell (2007 Alvin High School) played softball at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana for one year. Megan played for the Texas Connection 18U. Siera Moreno (2007 Kempner High School) plays softball at Blinn College in Brenham, Texas. Siera was a pitcher and outfielder for the Texas Aces in the fall of 2002 and spring of 2003. She later played for the Katy Express Gold. Congratulations Siera!

Amy Ramirez (2007 Pearland High School) plays softball for San Jacinto College. Amy was an outfielder for the Texas Aces coached by Kim Orsak from the fall of 1998 through the summer of 2002 in 10U & 12U. Bonnie Matak (2007 Lamar Consolidated High School) plays softball for Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana. Bonnie was an outfielder for the Texas Aces in their first year of 12U in 2001 (year pictured). Bonnie went on to play for the Katy Heat for several years, and later played for Magic Gold. Tiffany Stritz (2007 Pearland High School) was accepted to Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas, but later changed her mind and went on to play at Texarkana Junior College. Tiffany played with the Texas Aces in 10U in 2000 and last played for the Texas Cobras. Good Luck Tiffany!

Kat Harrell (2004 Clear Creek High School) played shortstop for Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana for four years. Kat was named to the All-Southland Conference 1st Team for three consecutive seasons - 2006, 2007, and 2008. Emily Horne (2004 Sharpstown High School) played at Arkansas Tech University, after playing two years at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson, Mississippi. In her final year at Co-Lin, Emily led the team to a third place finish in the NJCAA National Tournament in Normal, Illinois. Emily led the nation in NCJAA Divison II with a 0.466 ERA, and was named 1st Team All American. Emily played for Havard's Texas Aces team for several years, and later played for the Texas Peppers.
